Save the date: BBA Annual Stakeholder Forum, Maximising the benefits of biosimilars in the UK – 29 November 2018
The British Biosimilars Association (BBA) is delighted to announce that our 3rd Annual Stakeholder Forum will be held on Thursday 29th November 2018 (10am-3:30pm).
This year's forum will be focusing on Maximising the benefits of biosimilars in the UK. It will explore the NHS’ progress achieving its ambition of £300 million in savings through increased use of biological medicines by 2021 while examining how the service can fully embrace biosimilar medicines for the benefit of patients and the broader NHS.
We will also explore the role of various NHS actors in widening patient access to biological medicines, address unwarranted variation, and add a more international dimension by reflecting on the global biological medicines development ecosystem and its impact on the UK. The forum, aimed at practitioners and policy-makers, will be structured around a series of panel sessions and interviews on a variety of topics.
The event will take place in London. Networking and refreshments will be available from 9.30am with the event starting at 10am. Lunch will be provided and we expect formal proceedings to close at 3.30pm.
